Hi jenny767, Welcome to Windowsbbs!
It looks like the malware could have caused serious damage to your Windows installation. Try this, in Safe Mode click Start< All Programs< Accessories< Command Prompt. Type sfc /scannow
and hit enter.
Let SFC finish and when its done reboot the computer and see if you can get into normal mode.
If SFC doesn't work then in Safe Mode click Start< All Programs< Accessories< System Tools< System Restore. See if you can restore the computer to an earlier time before the malware was present on the computer.
If the computer is still not booting properly in normal mode then I suspect that you still have malware infections present on the computer.
If that is the case then please read this
and post a new thread in the Malware and Virus Removal Forum
Also please enter your System Details
. It helps us in answering your questions.
Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:
To have your system specifications displayed in your profile, you have to click the link Edit Options, and under Thread Display Options< System Specifications select Yes from the drop-down menu.
Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.
