Well I updated SB again this morning at about 7:30 am (GMT). Luckily I check it every two or three days. It seems to update now roughly every fortnight.

I did not realize that. But if you say, I am sure it's true. i Would think....cause more people who do not have lives are writing more evil things to mess up strangers.:(

For some reason I like the enable all protection...and then you see that happening visibly. I like this. I have no clue why.:p

Maybe it's my imagination but at one time it seemed to only update around every 6 weeks to a month. I can remember having 2 in a fortnight recently. They are aiming at weekly updates. I think that's what I was told on the Wilders Security Forums somewhere anyway!.

Wow. I never heard of that forum. I will now check it out.

Obviously the efficacy of any protection app of this sort is its database. MBAM updates everyday....Superantispy almost.

I find this very impressive. And it always makes me feel safer.:)

Dave....I have the paid for version and mine doesn't update that often.
    Pretty sure.

I just wish people would get lives. And reclaim their souls, OK?

Mine does & I only have the freeware. Ask on their forums if you like but I regularly manually update mine twice a day at least (usually in the morning & the evening).

Interesting. Mine updates automatically at the time I set. So I am prolley missing things. When it does update, I guess it might include more than one individual update within the previous 24 hours.

I think the more we do things manually, the healthier we remain! I am serious. I see I can not remember lots of the numbers I have programmed into my phone. And I have pretty amazing memory, it sometimes even scares people. I think our brains can atrophy when we give our power away too much to devices!!!!!

There is so much **** on my mobile I've forgotten what's actually on it. My laptop on the other hand is fairly clean. I do tend to collect browsers though.

Forgetting what's on our phones not the issue....the more we rely on devices and technolgy, the more our brains atrophy....is.:(

I collect orchids and grow them....but browsers good too!;)

In Chinese Taoism the orchid (Lan) & its Mah Jongg 'guardian' tile in divination symbolises refinement & something precious. The way I see it, any plant that can't be (a) cooked & eaten (b) turned into alcohol is overrated.

Technology can set us free. If only it works properly. Otherwise it's back to the Pleistocene.

    I
Cute. Read the scanned feature I sent you I wrote for ORCHIDS MAG.

Of course, we are now off topic and morphing into stuff which properly belongs in general discussion, Dave.

I disagree, Dave, real issue is... DO WE work? And to what degree eroding the technology WITHIN may be in play???

Yeah, we're a bit off-topic. If you're so allergic to technology (I'll bet a tenner you know far more about computers than I do) how come you use so much of it, including SpywareBlaster? (see how I bought us back on topic, sort of) ;)

    Dave be nimble, right?

Answer; I employ everything I am lucky enough to have access to and learn the specifics of. I am in no way a technophobe....that should be obvious

Goal is to chase all the data and see things in increasingnly clear, full, accurate perspective, each week more than the week before. It is a PRIVILEGE.

Technology is here to augment human. NOT TO REPLACE WHAT NO HUMAN COULD EVER EVOLVE.
