    Hi
my motherboard is GIGABYTE (EG41MFT-US2H) with 2x2gb DDR3 ram with Win 7 64-bits . Will it be better if I add another 2x2gb DDR3 ram ?
Don't know why but when my download speed goes up to 2MB/s , the system slow down until it take more than 10 seconds to open up any application .

Additional 4 GB RAM should help. Depends on what all applications you use & how many apps you run in background.

If you are facing problems while download speed goes down, it could be some program on your computer using the bandwidth as well as the computer. Better get expert opinion in Malware and Virus Removal forum.

Is this a Desktop or a Laptop PC. I believe you can install 8GBs of ram. Go to www.crucial.com That is why Admin. Arie asked you in another thread that you started to put in your System Specs. Is this PC 32bit or 64bit.

lj, obviously it's a desktop ;) and yes it can handle another 4gb Ram but kiasuteo, My system only has 3GB and works well even when downloading @ 20Mbits/sec I'd be tempted to follow rsinfo's advice...

Please follow these instructions as best you can and post in the Malware and Virus Removal forum.

Also yes completing your system details may also help...

We encourage all members to enter their system details, it could help resolving this and any future issues you may have.

Sorry wildfire for misreading the original post. Still recovering from cataract surgery. I think I'll hold off posting anything for awhile.

No need to apologise and keep on posting. Hopefully the surgery went well and you'll be 20/20 soon :)

Dr. said it went great and I should be 20/20 by the 2nd in week in August. Wearing glasses since I was 3yrs old that's 57 years. It is going to take some getting used to not wearing them. Thanks for the encouragement.:)
