IE 8 does not open!

when double click on shortcut internet explorer cannot runing!
Internet option is not open double click!
With unistall and reinstall the Internet Explorer problem is not resolved!

To open Internet Options do this if Internet Explorer does not open:
a. Click start
b. And click Run.
c. Type "inetcpl.cpl" without the quotes and click Ok
d. And try the steps in the above article.

You followed the guide Step 1 which did not work, did you then follow instructions in Step 3, if not please try it.

What version of Windows do you have.

Did you switch off all security software when downloading and installing IE8.

Have you just upgraded from IE7 or has IE8 been running OK and just failed.

 

-I did all steps but the problem is not resolved.
-Windows XP SP3
-Was performed once before but was having difficulty.

Are you saying that you did have IE8 installed, but it did not work very well?

When installing I got off the Security.

Already installed and worked but then trouble started.

 

If you click on Start and then programs and click on Internet explorer in the programs list, will it open that way?

If that doesn't work try this. Click Start and type iexplore.exe -extoff and hit Enter, then try to open IE8.

If one of these solutions works then just reply telling me which one.
