How to use ComboFix?

I use the combofix.exe, at the reboot part, it took a long of time to shut it down(after 1hour 30 minutes, i pessed the restart button on cpu.) After that, at the computer start up, it came out again, and some message shown that said it was preparing the report log(and it also take a long time till lost my patient and i terminate it.). Is there any other user exprience this problems?

my system:
Window XP(profesional)
RAM=512Mb
Professor:Intel pentium 4cpu 2.4GHz
video card: NVIDIA Geforce4 MX4000 (micfosoft corperation)

 

ComboFix is quite a "powerful" tool. I would not recommend using it without proper supervision. If you feel you have a malware problem, please see this forum, read and post the appropriate logs.
