[BSOD: 0x000000BE]

    Recently experienced BSOD on laptop, the below details were on the screen:

    An attempt was made to write to read-only memory.

    STOP: 0x000000BE (0x9835F02C, 0x5B601101, 0x8D53FB84, 0x0000000A)

    Anyone aware of a possible remedy for this issue? Would be greatly appreciated.

    Do the blue screens happen randomly or can you re-create the blue screen on demand? When did this problem start happening? Did you make any recent changes to your computer before this issue occurred?

    Follow these instructions to post a Dump Data Log.

    If you do not have a dump, ensure that your machine is configured to write out a dump by following the directions from microsoft.

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

    Hi Evan, Thanks for responding, whenever I browse for the WDK Program in the area the forum tells me to look with the program I downloaded, it doesnt show up.
