Hello all

This is actually kind of funny. I'm a mod on a guitar forum and am always telling new members to post a greeting.
Ok, here goes. I've been struggling with a bad spyware/malware problem for about a week. (I have a teenage daughter). I'm pretty sure I got that cleaned up, but was having some problems with the OS. I found the forum through google like I'm sure everyone else did. The answers looked good and the people seem to be knowledgeable so I thought I'd give it a try. By the way, this is only the second forum I've ever joined.
Some stuff about me.
Currently I'm starting up a new help desk as a government contractor (US). Previously I was the manager of the desktop maintenance team as well as the the PC refresh team. All as a contractor. I don't really do much hands on support any longer because I'm an old guy, and there are a bunch of technicians out there who have passed me by. I can do the stuff still, but I don't know it it like I used to. (Ok, NT was the last OS I knew well).
Anything else? Oh yeah, I play a mean blues guitar. If anyone is interested I'll let you know the name of our guitar forum, but since I really need my question answered I won't say what it is here because I don't need to get banned for spamming the boards
