XP SP3 stuttering

    My XP computer that is about 4 years old stutters all the time now. I'll hit the Alt key and it will be 3-5 seconds before it's highlighted. I'll scroll down, and have to wait 3-5 seconds before the window moves. Videos stutter as well.

    Please help!

    We encourage all members to complete their System Specifications which help us to help you :)

    HJT logs are not permitted in any forum other than the Removing Spyware & Viruses forum and an HJT log is no longer sufficient.

    Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested in a new thread.

    Before doing that give your computer a good clean up by removing all Temporary files, etc - TFC.exe is a good tool for that purpose.

    If we knew your System Specs it would be helpful, along with how much free hard drive space you have.
