microsoft essential + malwarebytes issue

everytime i try to perform a scan with either of the two programs (Microsoft essentials and malwarebytes) i get the following message once the scan is few mins in

"instruction at 0x7c910cce referenced memory at 0x091bdb68. the memory could not be read

click ok to terminiate the program
click cancel to debug the program "

when i press cancel to debug the computer just freezes

all i know is that its some sort of svchost.exe error

any help/suggestion will be appreciated

Please click on the link below and follow the instructions. This will show you how to enter your systems details so that we can all see at a glance what PC you have and all the components. If you have entered your details correctly My System will appear in your profile box on the left of your posts.

After you have filled in all your details do not forget to click on save changes, at the bottom of the page.

If My System does not appear follow this:
To have your system specifications displayed in your profile, you have to click the button "User CP " from the top left of the page, then select "Edit Options ", scroll down the page to "Thread Display Options" make sure you select "Yes " in the box next to "System Specifications" then scroll down the page and click on "Save Changes ".

If your PC has more than one memory module please try running with just one module installed and then repeat for each module that you have. After receiving all your system details we can move on to other tests if the memory is proved to be OK.

Cut and paste them into individual posts, but not in this thread/board...

Read Aries post again, and start a new thread in the malware removal board.

Perfect , you can mark this thread as resolved for now. Once you've been given a clean bill of health from the experts you can mark it as unresolved if the issues continue.

In the meantime I would advise you do not make any changes to your system until the malware experts are finished with you.

Please mark your thread as 'Resolved'.

It is considered courteous to post a reply if you have been able to resolve your problem, or received an answer to your question. If you were given multiple suggestions/solutions, it is also helpful if you would list the solution that worked for you.

Once you have posted those details, when still looking at your thread, near the top of your thread you'll see Thread Tools. Click the down arrow to expand the drop down menu, at the bottom of it you'll see Mark this thread as solved. Click on it to mark your thread as solved.

If later you find that the problem has returned, and you had previously marked your thread as solved, follow the steps above. Instead 'Mark this thread as solved' you will see that in this case Mark this thread as unsolved is listed.
