microsoft essential + malwarebytes issue

    everytime i try to perform a scan with either of the two programs (Microsoft essentials and malwarebytes) i get the following message once the scan is few mins in

    "instruction at 0x7c910cce referenced memory at 0x091bdb68. the memory could not be read

    click ok to terminiate the program
    click cancel to debug the program "

    when i press cancel to debug the computer just freezes

    all i know is that its some sort of svchost.exe error

    any help/suggestion will be appreciated

    Welcome to BBS, please follow the instructions below.

    If your PC has more than one memory module please try running with just one module installed and then repeat for each module that you have. After receiving all your system details we can move on to other tests if the memory is proved to be OK.

    how do i upload the logs that are saved in notepad

    Perfect :), you can mark this thread as resolved for now. Once you've been given a clean bill of health from the experts you can mark it as unresolved if the issues continue.

    In the meantime I would advise you do not make any changes to your system until the malware experts are finished with you.
