ZoneAlarm not letting ANY Internet access

Got a call from a buddy with 2 comps unable to access the net, ZA on both of them. Uninstalled and tried installing the latest version on computer 1, at which time I got a message that it could not be installed because eTrust antivirus was installed and there could be conflict. Recommendation from the message was to uninstall eTrust, then setup exited. Needless to say, that computer is now happily running Comodo, and I am again disappointed in ZA.

Computer 2 was not used as much and had an expired antivirus license, so I uninstalled it. Went back on with the new ZA first, then eTrust went on without a problem. So far, so good.
