XP Keeps Dying: computer sounds running, but "no signal detected"

    No nothing else, only thought it may jog the BIOS into taking a fresh look at the hardware. I wasn't going to include it, but thought "what the heck, it is a low cost try ". Yes, as far as I know, it really isn't required unless you can't access the BIOS settings.

    solution found

    hey guys just to provide some feedback in case anyone experiences the strange errors associated with my previous problems from this thread, i replaced the motherboard and everything is fine, none of the previous problems remain.
