[Active] xp guardian 2010 virus stuck on my computer

Hi, last night i recently was being bored like my usual self when i decided to go download a random torrent, went to the normal site i have gone to for a long time and it seemed fine for the moment, as soon as the site opened, my computer froze for a second next thing i knew, it ran HORRIBLY slow and my anti -virus was shut down. This pop up came trying to scan my computer and it was called xp guardian 2010, seemed to be affecting the security center in my control panel. Everytime i open up internet that pop up comes and keeps trying to scan my computer then asks me if i want to register.

After a long while of doing EVERYTHING i can, i ran multiple scans, disk defrags, disk clean up, everything that i was acctaully able to do. I finally came to a spot where i think the virus is. I have avast anti virus and after a night of scanning, it came across a high level threat and it's called
"Win32:Adware-gen [Adw]" i even have the specific the spcific areas of where it is, it's in my c:\system volume information folder, and i have the specific names of the folders and the name of the item i think it is, problem is for example there are three items in one of the folder that might be named a001056 and the next one is the virus and that number is a001057 then third is a001058 but problem is seeing at the a001057 is the virus it isn't there it just skips that number and i can't find it.

So i REALLY need help!!!!!!!!!!!

c:\system volume information is your system restore folder, so this can be easily reset, but don't do anything yet.

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**
1. Please, never rename Combofix unless instructed.
2. Close any open browsers.
3. Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.
• Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix or remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results ".
• Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
NOTE1. If Combofix asks you to install Recovery Console, please allow it.
NOTE 2. If Combofix asks you to update the program, always do so.
• Close any open browsers.
• WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
• Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
• If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.
4. Double click on combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
5. When finished, it will produce a report for you.
6. Please post the "C:\ComboFix.txt" along with a new HijackThis log for further review.
**Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall**

Make sure, you re-enable your security programs, when you're done with Combofix.

DO NOT make any other changes to your computer (like installing programs, using other cleaning tools, etc.), until it's officially declared clean!!!

Download HijackThis:
http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis/download
by clicking on Installer under Version 2.0.2
[DO NOT download version 2.0.3 (beta)]
Install, and run it.
Post HijackTHis log.
Do NOT attempt to fix anything!

NOTE. If you're using Vista, or 7, right click on HijackThis, and click Run as Administrator
