XP Blues (BSOD, BIOS Checksum Error, DCOM error)

    Sorry for my late reply.
    It has defective capacitors inside the motherboard of CPU.

    Sorry that I have to stop here, because I will be sitting for examinations next week (it's similiar to GCE O LEVELS) and I wont be online for the whole November and December. Can you, or admin temporarily lock this thread for November and December?? I will look back ASAP after my exam finished. I don't want my reputation points to be penalized because of not going online. Sorry again and thanks!!

    I am glad to hear that you have identified the cause of the problems with the computer - unfortunately defective capacitors cannot in general be replaced, except perhaps by an expert repair man.
