    Excellent.

    Cool.

    Install it.

    Then reboot, try sending/receiving email.

If it's still not working, you might want to consider a different email client or, even easier yet, simply access your Virgin Media email online using your favorite browser and forget trying to setup and maintain an email client.

Do you mean uninstall WLM and use another software for E-mail working? Any suggestions please. Wishing you a Merry Xmas and a Happy new year to you and everyone at WindowsBBS. Bobby.

Install of Net framework 4.0. was not possible as caption states "that Net framework 4.0. is already installed or a higher version is currently installed ".

Personally if you must use an email client, I would use Microsoft Outlook. Do you have a copy of Microsoft Office that includes Outlook? Otherwise if you don't then do as SpywareDr said and just use your Internet browser to check your email.

Did you try calling VirginMedia? You've been having so much trouble with WLM I would dump it and just use the email service offered by VirginMedia if they offer one.

Then on the VirginMedia Sign in page,
    1. Type in your VirginMedia user name in the "Username" box.

    2. Type in your VirginMedia password in the "Password" box.

    3. Click the red "Sign in" box.

You will now be able to create, edit, delete, send, receive and store your VirginMedia email right there online on VirginMedia.com within your Internet Explorer browser window.

SpywareDr, you are a genius, as you suggestion works a treat, thank you. I contacted Virginmedia on 150, eight times. Just a round around from "give twenty fours for error to be corrected" "we will call back in 40 minutes - that never happened" " hang up and try again as error now corrected - I right, not this time ". I will be writing to Swansea to lodge a complaint against their service. Am I correct in thinking that the fault lies with WLM? Again my sincere thanks.

    You're welcome.

Rather doubtful. Untold thousands still use it.
