Resolved windows7 network windows xp

thank you working good now I can print through my network now and also see my group Home networking icons. I had to create IRPSTACKSIZE in my registry and I put 15 in and change it to decimal. I won't mark it solved until I run it for awhile I want to thank everyone who help me solve the problem.

 

will this work in windows 7 create this in the registry in windows 7 (IRPStackSize ?)

 

Hi again , from windows 7 I can see my 2 xp computers on my home network I can open folder on one of the the other xp I can see but every time I try to open folder I get this error on windows 7 xp\Share lynn is not accesible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have acess permissions.

Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

Hi Bob - try (as I suggested) increasing the value of IRPStackSize (on the XP) to 25 decimal.

Value of 15 is the default size.

Error msg is generated by the computer that has the shares you're trying to access. In this case the XP.

 

All working good I increase xp to 25 decimal .
