Ok so I have an old computer that had alot of malware on it and after reinstalling i have some problems, for starters Security Centre has vanished except for the icon in control panel, System Restore has been disabled by Admin, which i did not do. a bunch of other stuff is missing as well. So i was wondering if anyone knew a way to eithier get a different ISO of Windows XP or fix the problems on this one and restore it to its original setting without reinstalling. I have no idea what happend. Please advise

How did you reinstall windows, and from what source.

I'm seriously thinking you still have malware on the system.

Please read this and post the requested logs in Malware and Virus Removal

I reinstalled Windows using an ISO that i downloaded from a reliable source and used the sticker on the side of my PC to activate it, everything seems to work fine, its actually very stable but critical features are not available, im wondering if ther is a repair or if i can obtain another version of Windows XP from somewhere else

I'd follow my previous advise and take it from there once we've verified your system is clean.

Anything other than MSDN or TechNet is most likely not legal, and missing features suggest as much.
