I want to know how to reinstall or disable Window's Vista firewall because I don't think it works as well as Zone Alarm (what I'm trying to install)

Go to Control Panel>Windows firewall, click the Change Settings link and you can turn it off there.

You also might consider looking into Vista Firewall Control from Sphinx. It uses Vista's firewall to interface with the user much like Zone Alarm, alerting you to traffic both in and out. In addition, it lets you allow or deny access to all or part of a program, something I find quite useful. It uses minimal resources which is another thing about it I like.

There is a free version for personal use (which the one I use) you can download from this page.
