Solved windows update downloads but will not install

    these updates will not install in safe mode. I have tried all different ways I can think of I even tried by doing standing on one foot and with my fingers crossed. :( When i check which updates still need to be installed it still says Microsoft Office 2003 (KB2288613) and Security Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (KB2293428). It also says Security Update for Windows XP (KB981852) which on the update history shows I have installed 4 times now. I will do a bit more searching on the net to find any fixes for this. Thanks for helping me to stumble along this far.

    Piggy computers :eek: I just want to do emails a few piccies facebook and sims2. Then fiddle about looking like I know what I am doing. :rolleyes:

    At this point....

    In this forum, we make sure, your computer is free of malware and your computer is clean :)
    Because the access to malware forum is very limited, your best option is to create new topic about your current issue, at Windows section.
    You'll get more attention.
