hi there.i searched the site as i read in one thread there might be a solution to my problem but i couldn't locate anything so here is my problem.

was infected with some kind of Trojan.removed Trojan using anti virus program.re-ran 2 more times and everything seems ok. but now when i start yp my windows task manager it pops up frozen.the tabs work fine,i can switch between them, but it doesn't read continuously ,it only shows the stats from right when it started up.if i use it to stop a process the process stops but because it's frozen it still shows that task as running.is there any way to restore my windows task manager to proper running condition and could this be the fault of the aforementioned Trojan still being present even though the virus scanner i sued to locate it and remove says it is no longer present? any help is appreciated.

Hi, shadend. Welcome to Windows BBS! :)

You need to be certain (as certain as you can be) that your computer is free of all malware. Then, if you're still having issues with Task Manager, you can pursue other avenues to correct them.

Please carefully read and follow the directions in this post and then paste the appropriate logs in the Malware and Virus Removal Forum.
