am getting a number of clients lately that keep getting windows security essentials coming up indicating they have bugs on their machines. problem is that this program is not even installed on a xp machine but its acting like a spyware bug. so far have not been able to remove it without redoing the whole machine. have searched the web but havent found anything indicating that this is being used by the bad guys.

anyone seen this ??? and if so how did you get rid of it. mailwarebytes and other dont even indicate its a problem.

malwarebytes doesnt seem to work with this one cuz i have tried a number of times with no bugs found. i also use rkill.com in safe mode to kill any process's. guess i will have to do the hard way and edit the registry and find those variables in the users folder.

    thanks.
