windows not booting up properly

    When i turn on the computer it gives me that one or more of your disks may have errors on them (blue screen) then it runs a scan like 5 times some times it starts and some times it doesn't

    i don't think it's the hard drive,I think that it's a trojan or root kit that my spyware doctor with av is not detecting.
    I was infected a long time ago with a virus that permanently shutdown my windows firewall when that happened i tried to back up my computer and lost everything.

    I would advise you to check out the hard drive for confirmation that it is not the source of the problem.

    If you feel that you are infected head over to the Malware & Virus Removal forum and ....

    Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested in a new thread.thread.
