Refer to get-appxpackage entry using PowerShell, now functioning correctly in using the keyboard Pipe key. Information was most appreciated.

Now in Win10 Mail Virginmedia now failed showing a caption "Settings are out of date" No matter number of entering of the Fix data by re-entering password has no affect. Deleting Virgin media data/re-interring data has no affect.

Virgin account is ok if entered through the Virgin Desktop icon. Virgin fails when clicked in Win 10 Mail. Thoughts, Win 10 Mail is a Microsoft software as is Outlook.com, but Virginmedia is an entered add account. It only became not working on selecting synchronised, that turned into a massive error. Until a solution is found, will require two separate function in opening the two Mail readers separate.

How Many threads have you started on this problem. Every one ends u the same with no solution. Get rid of Windows 10 Mail. After you get rid of Win 10 Mail remove both outlook and virgin accounts. Do not reinstall Win 10 Mail. But redo your Virgin and outlook accounts. Do not synchronize the accounts. You can use outlook without Window 10 Mail they are separate programs and do not have anything to do with each other.

Apparently too many threads in my search for a solution. In the best interest, agree the removal of Win 10 Mail is the only solution, final question is, procedure to do so?

Open Powershell then Copt and Paste Get-AppxPackage *microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps* | Remove-AppxPackage

Did you try the instructions that I gave you earlier. Follow those directions you can copy and paste them also. It's the basicallysame thing as I just posted.

I did follow your instructions. Both E-mails are now opened in clicking separate Desktop icons. Virginmedia Mail is no longer opened in Win10 Mail, this causes issues for quick access but at the moment there is no solution at hand.

Carried out your given steps, Win10 Mail remains on Desktop.

What do you mean remains on the desktop? Can you still use it? Did you reboot the machine after you followed my instructions?

Your instructions followed to the letter. Win10 Mails has only the one address Outlook, Virgin no longer current. Emails received weeks ago still not permanently erased though erased at time of receipt. As at present clicking Virgin icon, opens much slower to read E-mails.

You could try to reinstall the OS and not bother with Win 10 Mail or Outlook and just use your Virginmedia account. It seems whatever is tried is never going fix the problem. unless you get rid of Win 10 Mail. I don't know if you are having a problem with Powershell , the commands I gave you for it, or if something is corrupted in the OS itself. I know it sounds drastic but a reinstall might fix the problem. I you are willing to try a reinstall. But that is entirely up to you.

Good advice, thank you. To be honest, a re-install of the OS is a real hassle and requires a careful think. I appear to be prone to my computer's constant facing of malfunction over the years and no doubt this will continue to be the case. Thanks for interest shown and helpful suggestions.
