    Maybe, I found something...
    Check HERE
    File Types edit is for 2000, and XP, so if any entries listed there are missing in Vista, proceed to Registry edit section.

    I have to hand it to you, YOU DID IT!!!!! :D

    I was really starting to believe this was a clitch that would never be solved or fixed. But I have met someone else that is as stubborn and determined as I am.

    THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

    I first backed up my registry, and then edited it according to the article you led me to. Then I rebooted the computer, dialed in, opened my e-mail program and clicked on the URL sent me from Windows BBS, and here I am, and NO ERROR MESSAGE!

    I can't thank you enough. I really do appreciate how you stuck with me there and kept digging. One thing I am not good at is searching for anything. I am never good at choosing just the right words to use or terms. So I always have a hard time of it. Apparently you did a super job.
