Windows Booting up really slow..

James, another thought have you checked Default Settings in Control Panel?
Autoplay may have control by mistake.

Well I turned off auto play. It booted fine with a disc in there. But now after boot up I put a disk in even after clicking on the dvd cd drive it tells me to insert a disk every time I click on it.

 

Does this mean that your boot time was back to normal?

 

Yes. But now with auto play turned off the drive does not even recognize a disk after being inserted keeps telling me to insert a disk..

 

What are your BIOS settings telling you?

 

Boot 1) hard drive.. boot 2)cd dvd .. boot 3) usb cd dvd.. boot 4) usb hard disk..boot 5) net work

 

Now its all working fine.. I went in and set optimized defaults saved and exited.. Turned off auto play. restarted pc.. put disk in turned pc off then turned back on with disk in there its all working fine now..
