Since he's already tried another power supply... however the fan did not come on.... Hmmmmm, might not be a bad idea to try with drives disconnected As in an above post). Put as little draw on the PW as possible. One memory stick, smallest ya have. Nothing else but video. After that, unless you can try a proven power supply, I'm afraid I'd start looking at the processor. You've tried different video, different ram...

    tried all but.....

I have two other mem sticks placed in the 1ST bank, same two beeps

I have tried a different cpu>pen2, I used the one out of one of my old working pc I am still using at work, same two long continious beeps

I have two other dell power supply's I think is good?????but neither one after pluging in the power to the power supply, did the fan come on, and i did'nt get the front panel led lights to come on with these two power supplys. Both came out of dell boxes but they had a additional (9(?)-hole connector cable) to plug to inside the dell box, and my box do not have this connector, whatever it is.

I have tried another video card, but this card goes in a ISA slot, and my box video card comes out of a GPA slot, do I need to disable the GPA slot for the isa video card to work???? I need to get my hand on a vedio GPA card and a forsure power supply.

well at this point after pulling the battery and resitting it, I can't get the box to power on at all, with the front led lights on
