    No, it did not work, seems there are two Autorun.inf files that will not copy over. Looks like I'm going to have to tear this thing apart.

    Smells like some malware to me.

    Ok, I took it apart, hard drive is securely in place, I removed and reinstalled it just to be sure. No joy.

    You can refer to post #18 to see if you can get the data off the drive but if you don't need to get any data off the drive then I would say its time for a new hard drive.
