    Update

    Hi Broni,

    So far so good on the computer. My son is the primary user of it. I want to try and give it extra protection because he is more likely to install something unknowingly.

    When I ran DelFix did NOT activate UAC. I read that it is very annoying, causing a pop-up every few minutes. Do you recommend turning UAC on? If yes, can I just run DelFix again and check the box?

    Would MalwareBytes Pro set to auto update and auto scan provide a good level or protection from PUPs?

    I will add a note in my PC maintenance calendar to run the various clean-up programs on his laptop the same time I run it on my PC.

    If your son is not that careful it's better to turn UAC on.
    MBAM won't protect him from himself but it's better than nothing :)
