broni, everything seems back to normal....start up was clean. Not sure what was repaired, but that was a large log file with lots of scary words like ERROR in the script. what can you tell me from the logs?

It' even too much for me.
Basically the program checks and fixes any corrupt Windows items.

    Good news though :)

    very bad news

broni, today is a different story....this mornings boot was slow, but it booted. I then tried to upload a video of my new puppy & the pc no longer recognized my camera. when I began to troubleshoot I discovered my pc no longer recognized one of my printers. It appears that my usb ports are no longer recognized. I then went to sys restore and all of the restore points that we created including the one before doing the os fix are gone. This is getting serious & I really need to get a fix.

I'm afraid you may have some hardware issue.

    However...

In this forum, we make sure, your computer is free of malware and your computer is clean :)
Because the access to malware forum is very limited, your best option is to create new topic about your current issue, at Windows section.
    You'll get more attention.

    Good luck!
