I visited a website that I believe brought either spyware, malware, or a virus to my pc. I have eradicated the virus, etc., but when trying to download anything (Malwarebytes updates for example), cannot. It just hangs forever, never completing the download. I've tried a system restore to no avail. My only other option, if a resolve can't be found, is to rebuild. Please help.

Hi bradleyrichman, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

It looks like your computer may still have remnants of malware installed on it. You should make sure its 100% malware free first before posting in this forum.

Please read this and post a new thread in the Malware and Virus Removal Forum.

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.
