    Thanks James,

Did you see the screenshot I posted a couple of messages back. I'm wondering if that's all Evan had wanted me to send him last night. I re-read his message and perhaps that's all he needs. What do you think?

    Thanks again,

    bellisimo

That is the screenshot Evan asked for - I think the culprit is in the last line.

I'll let Evan continue with this.

Agreed that the last item is probably the culprit.

Thanks for the screenshot. In Autoruns highlight and remove all of the items that are highlighted in yellow. Then reboot the machine and see if that error message is now gone.

Awesome. I noticed that one of the yellow entries in Autoruns was from the Conduit Adware program.

I'd like you to run the following tools to make sure that you have no more junk programs on your machine and then you should be all set.

Download the Junkware Removal Tool and save it to your desktop. Right click on the JRT program and click on Run as administrator to run it. Post the JRT log in your next reply.

Then, download AdwCleaner and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens click on the Scan button. Then when the program has finished scanning, click on the Clean button. The program will reboot the computer. Post the AdwCleaner log in your next reply.

    Thanks Evan,

I'm sending the JRT.txt now, thought I don't see it here. Hopefully it will get there.

    Thanks Evan,

I'm having one annoying little problem when I reboot my computer, and by the way, it's a pretty nice new system with a 250G Solid State C Drive, etc.

What's happening is this. When I reboot I get a message that says CPU Fan error!
    Press F1 to run SETUP.

I click on F1 and it takes me into Bios and everything looks fine.

The CPU temp. is 100.4 degrees F. or 37.0 degrees Celsius, which is about right on.

The Motherboard temp. is 82.4 degrees F. or 28.0 degrees Celsius, again about right on.

Do you know of any reason why I'd be getting this message? It's a pain in the neck every time I boot up my system.

Thanks again for all your help,

    bellisimo

    I'm curious, folks.

bellisimo's screenshot had some items highlighted in yellow indicating a missing file. Should he delete those too?

You can access that Local Temp folder by typing %temp% in either the start search box or in run command box. I delete everything in that folder and never had a problem. There is usually one folder that will not delete. I get rid of that one using lockhunter.

That is because it is in use - as indicated by the delete dialogue.

    Thank you Loser,

I uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller and all is well.

    Thanks for your suggestion.
