Great.... Maybe I can skip Win 11 altogether.

My current Win 10 machine is fine for my needs. And it isn't good enough to be upgraded to 11.

All my computers are only Win10 compatible. I don't see any hurry to junk perfectly working computers just to go on Microsoft's bandwagon for the latest.
Would remain with Win10 till at least early 2026, when the landscape of Win 12 (or whatever) would become more clear.
At this point, Linux is looking more & more tantalizing. At least I don't have to change/upgrade hardware/software every couple of years to get updates/additional functionality.
And, by the way, what happened to Microsoft's statement that Win10 would be the last Windows ?

As MS said with Windows 10. You won't have to buy a new copy of Windows to keep up with the Jones's, They were right. You have to buy a new PC.
