Windows 10 Will Be a Free Upgrade for People Running Windows 8 + Windows 7

DOS was before my time, but I did get to play with it when we were in Mazatrol training. Very interesting.

Is that how Chrome Book operates?

 

Windows 10 will be free, even for those running pirate Windows 7, 8 or whatever. Even so, there will be a hard time ahead to sustain a market share. People are moving to OS X, Linus, Ubuntu etc.

Microsoft Office are now free on iPad as well. Without selling hardware, Microsoft will have a hard time. But selling hardware, the risk is getting bigger. I still see Microsoft nowhere to go, as Apple has new alliance with IBM for the corporate market.
