Leaving my desktop running windows 10 to update to the latest it somehow went back to windows 7 when the update was finish keeping windows 10 taskbar but with limited functions, no start menu, internet explorer/windows edge was not downloaded only Chrome was remain tinker with it for a while then I did a clean installation using widows upgrade assistance but when it reaches express setting it keeps looping back to express setting when I click on next.
The update is working fine on two of my laptops.

Hi grensam. Did you back up your data and perform a repair install of Windows 10 or a clean installation?

Thanks but could not back up because there is nothing on screen for me to click on so I reinstall windows 7 then try to reinstall windows 10 but it reach to a point where it could not read memory and the screen were flickering so I shut down computer and restart and for quite sometime it has been undoing the changes telling me not to shut down until it is finish.
