How to make Second Life work in Windows 8, Windows 10

1. Identify Video/Graphics system for your computer/ get Windows 8, Windows 10 drivers from the official manufacturer.
2. Try reinstalling Second Life once again using only the official version downloaded from Linden Lab, but be sure to perform a quick installation.

If you still have doubts on how to do that here’s a quick guide to make Second Life work in Windows 8, Windows 10

1. Go to File Explorer->Libraries/Computer/(C / Users/ <your username>
2. Choose Continue to edit permanently the directory
3. Select Options & Change Folder & Search Options from View drop-down menu option
4. Select View Tab
5. Search for Hidden Files and Folders and go for O Show hidden files, folders & Drivers radio button
6. Click Apply then OK
7. Open C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local and delete everything in the Temp and Second Life folder
8. Perform Second Life uninstall from Programs and Features

 

Ok sorry for the long delay. Personal problems. But I have been talking to my fellow gamers in utherverse and I am not the only one with bad lag. Even friends with more powerful computers are getting the lag. And not just on windows 10. So it is the game.. the 2ND life fix worked and is running fine.. thanks every one for the help.. I will mark this as solved..
