Hi Ramona and BBS: Thanks for reactivating my account. And thanks for your Happy Birthday note!

I've a peculiar situation now. For a long time, I've used IE 5/6. However, ever since I opted to install IE 8.0, every time I now log on after booting up or restarting, I get the following sequence of two windows [quotes mine]:

    "Assert Failed\Projects\wtkernel\src\Win32\cm\Core\cmCodeModule.cpp:90 m_Code Handle! = NULL "

When I click OK on the above FIRST window that pops up, I get the SECOND window, which has the customary Alert red circle with a white X in upper left corner of the window, and a subject line reading "ddcmigrate.exe - Applictioan Erro." This SECOND window reads [quotes mine]:

"The application failed to initialize properly (Ox80000003), Click on OK to terminate the application. "

When I do this, my system operates alright, but I always have to go through this two-window pop-up sequence at least twice before it stops popping up.

Again, this started happening only after I downloaded/installed (or so I thought anyway!) IE 8.0.

Incidentally, that said, I still get windows popping up and inviting me to install other aspects of IE 8.0.

Any comments on this would be appreciated. (I'm apprehensive about uninstalling IE 8.0 for fear of losing all my emails.)

    Thanks,
    stillanovice
