    Thank You CPC

Well, I finally received my new RAM (Kingston Hyper X 1GB DDR400 Dual Channel PC3200) installed it last night.
So far NO crashes:) . Seems that was the problem all along. I really pushed the system to full load and still not a glitch.

I will be monitoring the PC over the next few days to see if the problem occurs again. But, I think we got it solved.

    Thanks Again,
    I Owe You:D

    Hi Kandcorp,

Thanks for your answer to this thread and you are a nice guy. Sometimes I feel very frustrate, most of the problem owners do not feed back the final answers. I still have 18 unconfirmed cases with similar problems. At least I know my record is correct, most of the crash at timer IRQL is related to faulty ram.

    I have another problem now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just when I thought it was over. Its not.
After new ram Installation everything was running very well. No crashes, no BSOD. So when I came home today and switched my computer on I got NO display, No beeps, nothing. Just Power. Fans come on MOBO lights on and HDD's seem to be spinning. But just no video on screen. I have had this problem in the past and it ended up being the MOBO.

So, I tried stripping the PC down. Ran it at minimum (vid card, cpu, ram) Still nothing, just power, NO VIDEO.

    Ya think its the MOBO...

    Thank You

    Hi,

Maybe some hardware components are loosen due to cold weather. Reseat the ram and re-plug the keyboard, ram and the disk cable.

 Well, I took MOBO out completely to see if it was maybe grounding out on the case. Made sure everything was seated and connected properly but still no luck. There is power getting to the board but just no display, no post.

I started with just the CPU, RAM, and Vid. NO Luck...
I have already requested an RMA from MSI for the MOBO, which I really think is the source of the problem.

When I first started the computer up after shut down I did smell something burning. I think I shorted out the mobo.

Well I am going to play around with it later, maybe try a different mobo. I'll post results later.

    Thanks Again
