win xp .net install failure

    hello there,
    Please assist. Iam failing to install .Net 3.5 on Acerpower F1 machine with the following error:

    Publisher
    c:\DUCUME~1\...\DOTNetFX35\DotNeFX30\WIC-x64-enu.exe
    cannot be verified.

    In the log ist simply shows that .Net 3.5 could not trust the publisher.

    Looking forward to your help

    You are trying to install a 64-bit version on (most likely) 32-bit XP.

    Please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions!
