    Hello there
I have this problem with Win XP PRO in a laptop. Whenever I share a folder, no matter whether it is a folder inside of an internal drive (like a hard disk) or it just a folder on a external usb drive it gets unshared a few seconds after sharing the drive. This behaviour happens as long as my wireless connection is enabled. If I disable this wireless connection and then use just a peer to peer ethernet connection, then I can share folders and can transfer files without being stopped a few secs after sharing the folder.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?
Another important data: when I said that I have tested this in any drive whether internal or not I meant I have tested in a laptop's hard disk folder and in a laptop' CDROM folder. I said "internal" and "external" because I think the CDROM drives is connected through USB even though it is an internal drive to the laptop.

I have tried by setting static IP for the laptop but even doing it like that does not prevent the folder from getting unshared after a few seconds.
It does not matter either whether windows firewall is enabled or disabled because the behaviour is in both cases the same as described above.

Any idea to solve this issue and let me transfer files in a local network through wireless and Win XP PRO?

    Thanks
