    The manual indicates the presenceof a battery at the top of chapter 3:

    The battery should be located in the vicinity of the CMOS/BIOS chip.

    I went through the tech manual and it does not provide any indication of where or what type the battery is. As I said as soon as I can get to it I will go over the board with a magnifying glass and let everyone know what I find. I did look at the area you are indicating and there is not a silver button battery there so will check for the capacitor looking one there first. :)
