Why does pop up topic "bubble" disappear so fast?

When I rest my cursor over a topic, I get a nice popup bubble that gives the first few lines of the topic similar to what Yahoo news does. However, it disappears in a few seconds, often before I finish reading it. With Yahoo news, it stays open as long as you don't move your cursor away. How can I lengthen the time the window stays open?

    thanks

I don't know if you can change it or not. It think that Arie has to change it. I've often thought it should be longer myself. I'd like it to stay until I take my cursor off of it. Anyway, I'll be watching this to see what Arie has to say about it. ;)

How very puzzling! I'm not smart enough to make a change from one to the other but my Pop-Up stays until I move the mouse. I get annoyed because it doesn't go. While scrolling and reading the post the pop-up comes up and gets into the way. I can move the cursor to the far right over the black number of views and it's gone.

FWIW: The popup stays open only for 4-5 sec. I have a new XP-Home with SP2, AMD 3400, 2GB, NVIDIA GEForce 6600 video. I turned the built in popup stopper off but that didn't change anything. The Yahooe news popup (sorry, not Google as I originally posted but since corrected) stays open forever.

    Anyone else have an idea.

There's no setting for that. It uses the default for your particular browser for the "hover" attribute.

    Ari,

Thanks, I guess. I've got IE6. I can't believe I'm the only one with this problem?
