    Hi Everyone!
I hope no one is laughing at my problem, but when I was cleaning my keyboard using a small, soft-bristle paintbrush, as I usually do, I must have pushed too hard on the F-12 key, and suddenly----this extremely detailed page with all sorts of drop-down menus popped-up. I've been using a PC for over 10 years, but I've NEVER seen it on my computers, or on anyone else's. From what I can figure out, it's settings for "Web Developers ".....whatever that means; but what has me concerned is the rectangular selection bar that alternates between the choices of "START SCRIPT DEBUGGING" or "STOP SCRIPT DEBUGGING?. What is the correct choice for my PC's functioning, as well as my security; or are the "bugs" referred to NOT of the Malware kind? Please help as soon as is humanly possible, as I'm very cautious when it comes to privacy, anti-virus issues and security in general.
Many "Thank Yous" in advance for your help.
    Gratefully,
    Nuts4Mutts:)

    Hi, and welcome to BBS.:)

Have you shut down and restarted since you pushed F12?
Can't you cancel out of the program?

In Internet Explorer, pressing [F12] loads the developer tools, which is a suite of tools to help you build and debug webpages. To get rid of it, simply press [F12] again.
