    missmissy - glad you got it fixed.

    With all the typing you did, I wouldn't be surprised to hear you now had carpel tunnel syndrome though. :eek: :eek:

    I'm totally wiped out for everybody.....and all I had to do was read (and try to grasp) the elements involved in this episode. When I got into it I couldn't "put it down ". It was like a whodunnit.

    It is quite a saga, no doubt about that.

    I didn't even know some of the apps she used for troubleshooting would generate those kind of detailed logs.

    Restoration

    This might be a stupid response. But why don't you use restoration cd and wipe clean and reinstall your OS. I had same kind of problem and I did restore and everything works fine now.
