What cause PC to suddenly hang

    I think i can now safely say what is the problem after running the machine extensively these 2 weeks.

    This mother board has an defective USB port. I need to disable and use an PCI USB device to get the ports. By some accident the BIOS was reset which enabled the on-board USB. Now that i turn it off, seems to fix it for good.

    It takes some time to locate problems, hope it is all fixed.
