I've used 2.5" portables and 3.5" external HDDs in docks and enclosures. To me they're equal. It isn't about being best. It's about being your personal preference, for example what is the main use for the drive. The jury has been out for many years on Brand, 2.5 ", 3.5 ", HDD Docks, Enclosures. It's technology it's ever changing. What maybe best for someone else may not necessarily be best for you. Only you can make that determination. In my profile Under Experience I list myself as Experienced Learner. To me Beginner= Beginner Learner, Intermediate= Intermediate Learner, and Experienced= Experienced Learner. I do know if any one else on the forum will agree with me but it's a matter of opinion. If you get my drift.

I agree, you learn by others learning and no one knows completely every topic. Well that is my thoughts.

Well I do qualify for "Retired leaner [of many years)" and now suffer difficulty in retaining the learning curve.

I'm retired 23 years. I only forget certain things(ahhh what's my user name again?) only kidding. I'll stand still for a few seconds thinking and my wife asks me "Are you trying to remember your name again?" She's joking of course. Don't knock yourself. You're doing alright.

One thing in common, retired the same number of years and I too remember most things if given time (some short some long time lapses). Take care.
