    Westside,

I do have Media Player 9, but not Flash Player 6, and these are the errors I received when I tried to access the video in IE:

Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly.

    Then I received this error:

    JavaScript Detection Results
Your browser is not configured to use JavaScript.

This site requires JavaScript to be enabled on your browser in order to successfully view albums and to sign in as a member. Please enable JavaScript on your browser and refresh the browser window.

At any rate, ackerberg was able to save the video, and that is the main thing.

I too received the canned email from the site, but only time will tell if we get a real response.

    Ramona

    Ramona,
my point is that I count not even get into IE. I, actually, got further in with Firefox. NS7.1 and Opera 7.54 was banned, because it was not supported, NS7.2 because of the alleged javascript infraction, and IE6 because of Flash version not being supported. I tried over and over, and nothing happened. And, finally, to make the story completely absurd, the new NS8 beta, with a Trusted site setting, to be openable with IE., I got again the WMP9 message. I had also to allow popups.

    Bill,

    I received the same reply:

No way would I make a trade off of Firefox for ActiveX!

I, also, got the same message, and I shot back a reply which included most of an earlier response at this thread. I could not even pass the test with IE6.
And, at the time when I sent my original e-mail to them, I had the mozax plugin in Firefox, Netscape and Mozilla. I had used all of them, and I get the firefox reply. It goes to show you. Why didn't my IE6 make it? It got hung up on the Flash version compatibility.
