My Vista windows crashes for no apparent reason. I saw in another post where to download bluescreen reader and have the post for it. I would appreciate it f someone would take a look and see if they can see why I am having this problem. It seems to crash about 4 to 5 times an evening. Thanks

Hi stinkingdog101. Based on your memory dumps it looks like your problem is caused by your graphics driver from NVIDIA. I would try updating your graphics driver to its latest version and see if the issue is resolved. Also are you running Windows Vista with Service Pack 2? If you aren't then I would recommend that you downoad and install it. Windows Vista Service Pack 2.

By the way please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Atleast you are getting that dump error, I randomly get the memory error itself at times and then a kernal_data_error with vista. When the kernal_data_error happens it will lock up the system after a short bit, but it happens to click the hard drive like its trying to fail and i know its not. After a bit, I started to just manual shut off the system when that starts to happen and then start it back up. Its strange, I believe it is a driver issue with vista itself.

If you havent updated your vid driver yet, you may want to see about it. If you are playing a game when this occurs, turn down the resolution on your system. It stop this from occuring so frequently.

I have windows sp2 already installed. I downloaded the most recent driver from nvidia and the computer has seemed to stop crashing. I will give it a day or two to see before I post a resolved notice. Thanks
