Windows Vista Vista Error 0x800B0100 - unable to install updates

    I have only two other suggestions:

    1: Reinstall Vista 'on top' of itself (& hope this fixes it)

    2: Contact Microsoft Support, maybe they have an answer.

    Hi Arie
    I've a bad feeling to reinstall Vista alone, I'm not a professinal and have fear to loose a lot of work. My PC is full of licenced Software.

    I'm frustrated . MS send me an update and this didn't work. And when I need help, the first what they ask ist to for it.

    MS send me an update and this didn't work. And when I need help, the first what they ask for, was how will i pay for it.

    Well, ask yourself: what would you do if your hard drive fails?

    You'll need to have proper backups in place. This forum is full of posts from users that lost a lot of files because they didn't have a backup.
