My computer has been running quite slow lately, especially when downloading from the internet. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a good utility cleaner that would clean things up (registry, etc.) and get the thing running like new. There seems to be a lot out there, just don't know which one would be the best.

I have recently used TuneUp Utilities and found it to be quite effective, especially the system optimizers like registry defrag. But for an effective reg cleaner, try out RegSeeker as recommended by mflynn in this thread. It found an extra couple hundred invalid register entries for me immediately after running 2 other reg cleaners. Whatever you get,BE CAREFUL! Backup FIRST!!
