Using gpedit.msc remotely

Hello all.

I work at a high school teaching a computer basics class and the new (and inexperieced) network admin. came to me about setting restrictions for each user on every pc.

Every PC in the school is WinXP pro.

I know you can use the group policy editor (gpedit.msc) for a single PC. So could an admin us it to disable users certain priveledges without going to every PC in the school?
If so could you post a link or instructions?

How about HOW TO: Use the Group Policy Editor to Manage Local Computer Policy in Windows XP as a starting place and using a combination of the 5 links at the bottom of the article and a search of microsoft help online using Group Policy Editor as the search terms.

One item you will turn up that way is Guide To Windows NT 4.0 Profiles and Policies (Part 1 of 6) which is a good starting place. Somewhat long white paper but will give you good background.
