Resolved Updates will not install on my computer

ever time i get a update it keeps saying that its updateing and than after something pops up saying the following updates were not installed.

heres the list of what would not install

Update to .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 for the .NET Framework Assistant 1.0 x86 (KB963707)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update for .NET versions 2.0 through 3.5 (KB951847) x86
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 Security Update for Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP (KB974417)


i know i have the space on my hard drive so i don't know what is stopping the updates

 

You may need to run the
NET Framework Cleanup Tool and there is also a users guide on the site.

Run the clean up tool then download .NET Framework again and reinstall it.

thats what i get ever time and its still there right now... i don't know what to do...

 

See if it will install if you temporarily disable your anti-virus application.

If not, then post the error(s) associated with the failure to install (e.g., 0x0643).

It may take a little time for it to error.

.Net Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1

or something like that but the update will not install. i have some things that need .Net to run it but i think it will still work with what i have
